Today Glen Taylor School had there Powhiri. If you don't know what a Powhiri is I will tell you what it is. A Powhiri is a Welcoming ceremony for new students that have joined our school. Our Kapa Haka group sings songs and performs a Haka. We also had Matua Adrian perform a little waitia/haka and Papa Big say a little speech. Here is some photo's during the Powhiri.
