The never-ending tunnel!

This morning we had done quick write. Miss Tupou decided that we should do quick write so it can be a warm up for the class every morning. Quick write is an activity when you get given a picture and you have to create a story using your imagination. My quick write was called "the never ending tunnel ". Here is my story.

Family Fun day!

Last Saturday Glen Taylor had family fun day. Family Fun day is when your parents and teachers get to know more about each other and your parent can also see some of your awesome learning. I did not attend the family fun day but, I hope all the other students from Glen Taylor did.

Room 13's assembly!

Today Room 13 had there assembly. They had sang two songs to the school, one song was from the movie the greatest showman and it was called "This is Me". The other song was a song about a library but, I forgot what it was named. I personally think that they sang both songs beautifully, I really found there singing amusing because they were nice and clear and they also sang very good. Lexiannah, Moni, and TJ presented there pepeha's to the school which was very interesting to hear them read. I enjoyed Room 13's assembly I can not wait for there next one.

I got most improved player!

On Wednesday some year 7 and 8 students had represented Glen Taylor School at a softball tournament. We had two teams, there was a gold team and a white team. The gold team had came third place, and the white team had came eighth place. At today's assembly each person that attended the softball tournament got a certificate. We learnt some things about PRINCESS DIANA!

Today we ha done writing. For writing we had watch a video about Princess Diana. Miss Tupou had a conversation with the class about Princess Diana, we had to use some words that described Princess Diana. After we had included everyone's idea's we had to write the meanings of each word. We also had to use the words that were given and tell a time that Princess Diana had done that. Example: the word charitable, you will have to write about a time she was charitable. Here is my awesome work that I had completed.

FIRE and ACE

Today we had writing. For writing Mr Victor assigned Room 11 to create a google drawing with a partner about our new values F.I.R.E and A.C.E. My partner was Paige. We had to write the meaning of each letter. Here is our completed google drawing.

Softball Tournament!
